Then he said to them, ‘My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.’ And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will”‘ (Mt 26:36-39).

The descent of the Holy Spirit

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1-4).

The Assumption
“Henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me” (Lk 1:48-49).
